Launching Information Ventures: Student Business Plan Pitches

Pitch! Pitch! Pitch!
Come and hear students from the Faculty of Information pitch a panel of investors their business ideas on April 12, 6:30PM-9:00PM. This isn’t quite a den of dragons or a tank of sharks but you never know when you might hear the next Zuckerberg, Brin, or Pinkus share their billion dollar plan.

Students in the “Launching Information Ventures” class have been working through their business plans for the last half of the term and this is the final business plan pitch. You’ll hear about businesses in diverse areas as agro-tourism, online dating, franchising, retail, and collaborative consumption.

This idea jam will begin at 6:30 pm but will be longer than most ending at 9:00 pm.
